Custom Door & Mirror, Inc. (CDM) is a Long Island-based manufacturer with more than 60 years of experience serving the residential, multifamily and commercial construction industries.
CDM specializes in custom bifold and sliding closet door systems, including mirrored, solid-core MDF and specialty configurations. From standard openings to wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling applications, our systems can be manufactured to accommodate a wide range of project requirements. Our products are manufactured in Farmingdale, New York, and supplied to builders, developers, contractors and property managers throughout the New York metropolitan area and across the country, including through The Home Depot.
Our manufacturing capabilities also include kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, custom casework and architectural millwork, allowing us to support an expanding range of multifamily and commercial project requirements.
CDM is particularly well suited for large-scale multifamily construction and apartment renovation programs. We can work from plans and specifications to assist with takeoffs, custom sizing, production and project coordination. For phased projects, products can be manufactured and delivered on a just-in-time basis and individually labeled by building, floor, apartment and opening to simplify distribution and installation.
CDM also maintains production records for individual openings, providing property managers and building owners with a valuable long-term resource. If a door or component needs replacement in the future, we can identify what was originally manufactured for that opening and reproduce it without requiring the entire project to be remeasured.
With in-house manufacturing and CNC capabilities, CDM combines high-volume production with the flexibility to accommodate project-specific requirements. Our goal is to provide builders, developers and property managers with a responsive local manufacturing partner capable of supporting projects from planning through production, delivery, installation and long-term replacement needs.
